We currently offer the following groups:
- Preschool: 4-6 years
- School Kids: 6-8 years
- School Kids: 8-14 years
- School groups: 1st-4th class
- kindergarten
Kindergarten children aged 4-6 meet in the preschool groups. Once a week in the afternoon, the interest of the children, who often come into contact with the English language for the first time, is aroused through age-appropriate and well structured lessons (60 minutes).
With storybooks, nursery rhymes, songs and the help of colorful flashcards, vocabulary and language patterns are learned in a playful way, which are then repeated again and again in various games, movement activities and when painting and handicrafts and thereby unconsciously consolidate.
The children not only learn a new language, but also acquire social skills by learning in small groups. Fine and gross motor skills are trained by working on "activity sheets".
The 6-8 year old school children (1-2 class) also meet once a week for 60 minutes to learn English or to deepen their knowledge from their preschool course. Of course, always in a playful way and with "lots of fun"!
In addition to singing, handicrafts and painting, the children are motivated to express themselves in complete sentences. Through picture books and reading stories together (storytelling), the children expand their vocabulary and learn to form words, sentences and structures. Interest in English-speaking cultures, festivals and customs is awakened.
The oldest group in the Kids English Club are schoolchildren between the ages of 8 and 11, who, once a week after school, consolidate and expand their knowledge of English through play. Our goal for this age group is to improve reading and writing skills, but also to increase vocabulary through conversation. This takes place in a pleasant, child-friendly atmosphere and environment. This "stress-free" learning of the language will soon lead to more fun and success at school.
This age group is prepared for the official Cambridge Certificate and usually passes the exam with very good results. The Kids English Club is the first and one of the few language schools in Hesse to offer this option.
After school, 8-10 children meet with a teacher from the Kids English Club for 60 minutes. The 1st-4th Class students enjoy the informal learning style/method through games, handicrafts and singing, but also through reading and writing. The AG children are also prepared for the Cambridge Certificate and complete the internationally recognized exam.
Teachers and school educators are welcome to get information from the Kids English Club in order to arrange appointments for a group together.
